For my first stop motion project, I first spent a bit of time planning what my subject was going to be. Originally, I had planned to do something much more complex, but after careful planning realized that it would end up getting the better of me, and I wouldn't be able to solely focus on the animation of the falling object.After planning the subject of the scene, I began looking at timing. Having had some previous experience in animation, I knew I had to pay attention to how many frames I put into each part of the scene.
Once I got to where I could start recording, I had to decide the best way to set up the scene. Working with a limited number of resources forced me to not rely on fishing wire or thread to suspend my animation in the air as I had hoped. Instead, I decided to stage the scene on the floor and shoot from above which proved to be more effective.
